Ultra Additives has appointed Chris Henkee to the newly created position of technical director of the coatings, adhesives and printing ink markets. In this new position, Henkee will work closely with customers in these markets to identify solutions for problematic formulations. He will promote Ultra’s products mainly throughout the Indochina region. Henkee will also support Matthew Chen, president of Muenzing Shanghai and assume full sales and marketing responsibility for South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.
Ultra Additives also appointed Joel Schwartz to the position of research and development director. Schwartz will be responsible for applied research, new product development and product advances in defoamers and other additives formulated for paint and coatings.
Stephanie Charsky, has also been appointed to Ultra’s R&D team as a research chemist. She will report to Schwartz.
